Founder & CEO
Kevin Fleming is the founder and CEO of Writing.io. He has spent his career building early-stage companies at the intersection of technology and education. Kevin has deep experience in machine learning, product development, and go-to-market strategy. He is based in Southwest Florida.
Chief Learning Officer
Amanda Scheibner is a co-founder of Writing.io and leads the company's education framework and curriculum development. She holds degrees in English and Composition & Rhetoric and a teaching certification from West Chester University. Amanda brings extensive experience in instructional design and learning science to the team.
Co-Founder
Ryan Fleming is a co-founder of Writing.io, where he focuses on customer success and operations. He has extensive experience building and scaling early-stage companies and has a strong background in AI systems and customer-facing technology.
Chief Operating Officer
Mel Kimmel leads operations and strategic planning at Writing.io. With more than 15 years of experience in organizational leadership, Mel has held key roles including service at the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest. She is based in Kentucky.
Chief Technical Officer
Jason Gagne leads the engineering team at Writing.io. He brings extensive experience building and scaling web applications, having previously served as Chief Architect at ParentSquare. Jason is based in Santa Barbara.
Chief Growth Officer
Heidi Cramer drives product growth at Writing.io. She has held senior roles at T-Mobile and SoftBank, holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business, and is currently pursuing doctoral research in technology adoption and growth strategy.
Chief Financial Officer
Niels Kohl brings more than 30 years of finance leadership to Writing.io. He previously served as CFO of ConnexPay and held senior finance roles at ACI Worldwide and during a 30-year career at IBM. Niels is based in Naples, Florida.
Human Resources
Michelle Strasburger leads human resources at Writing.io. With more than 23 years of HR experience, she is a fractional Chief People Officer and the founder of HR Rebels. Michelle is based in Colebrook, New Hampshire.
Corporate Development & Strategy
David Ricci leads corporate development and strategy at Writing.io. He brings experience spanning Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurship, and serves on the NSBA Leadership Council. David is based in Texas.
Security, Construction, and Real Estate
Cindy English-Mitchell brings more than four decades of experience across security, construction, and real estate to Writing.io. She has been named to the SIA Women in Security Power 100 list for her leadership and contributions to the industry.
