Develops and manages strategic partnerships with enterprise brands to drive revenue, thought leadership, and business outcomes for the marketing association.

What this role involves

The American Marketing Association is looking for an Enterprise Partnerships Lead!

Who We Are

About the American Marketing Association (AMA)

As the leading global professional marketing association, the AMA is the essential community for marketers. From students and practitioners to executives and academics, we aim to elevate the profession, deepen knowledge, and make a lasting impact. The AMA is home to five premier scholarly journals, including: Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, Journal of International Marketing, and Journal of Interactive Marketing. Our industry-leading training events and conferences define future-forward practices, while our professional development and PCM® professional certification advance knowledge. With 70 chapters and a presence on 350 college campuses across North America, the AMA fosters a vibrant community of marketers. The association’s philanthropic arm, the AMA’s Foundation, is inspiring a more diverse industry and ensuring marketing research impacts public good.

AMA views marketing as the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large. You can learn more about AMA’s learning programs and certifications, conferences and events, and scholarly journals at AMA.org.

What to know about this role

  • This role sits within AMA’s Alliances team, a primary revenue engine of the AMA and critical driver of our mission. We partner with leading brands to develop strategic, business-focused partnerships that elevate their thought leadership, connect them with our community, and help them achieve meaningful business outcomes. The revenue our team generates directly fuels AMA’s ability to serve marketers, students, and educators around the world.

  • We are a fully remote organization with team members in over 20 states within the US. Work from the comfort of your home, a local coffee shop, or wherever in the U.S. brings you joy! However, please note that you MUST live in one of the following states to be considered for this role:

    • Alabama, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin!
  • We are unable to consider candidates who require an H1-B sponsorship at this time.

  • Compensation includes a $65,000 base salary plus an uncapped commission plan designed to reward new business growth. Successful performers have the opportunity to earn $100,000+ in their first year, with significant upside for top performers.

The impact of this role

This is a rare seat: the chance to build something that doesn’t exist yet inside of one of marketing’s most trusted organizations. You’ll go beyond traditional sponsorship sales, drawing on our full ecosystem of research, membership, events, and thought leadership to solve real business challenges for enterprise partners. You’ll work across the AMA to design partnerships and open up new revenue streams. If you want to build something scalable and see your fingerprints on the AMA’s growth for years to come, this is that role.

What you’ll be doing

  • Drive new business growth by identifying, developing, and closing strategic partnership opportunities across AMA’s sponsorship, advertising, research, events, executive engagement, and other organizational assets.
  • Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research to consistently achieve revenue goals.
  • Develop consultative partnership solutions by understanding client business objectives and designing customized programs that create value for both partners and AMA.
  • Collaborate across the organization to develop, deliver, and optimize partnership opportunities while sharing market insights that shape future growth strategies.
  • Grow long-term partner relationships by demonstrating ROI, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving renewals.
  • Manage the sales process with excellence by maintaining accurate Salesforce records, forecasts, proposals, contracts, and other sales documentation.

What you bring to the table

  • 5–7+ years of experience in B2B consultative sales, partnerships, or business development with a track record of closing new business.
  • Experience prospecting, building pipeline, and managing opportunities through the full sales cycle.
  • Strong relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills with executive-level stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience using Salesforce (or another CRM) to manage pipeline and forecast accurately.
  • Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a bias toward action.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling client proposals.

What you may also have

  • Experience selling sponsorships, media, advertising, events, research, or marketing solutions.
  • Experience selling into enterprise organizations or Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit, association, higher education, or membership organizations.
  • Existing network of marketing and/or HR & talent decision-makers.

What to expect from the interview process

  • Recruiter and Hiring Manager resume review (AMA does not use AI to screen candidates at any point in our process)
  • One-way video interview on Spark Hire (We promise this isn’t scary! Our questions are well thought out, and we wanted your answers to be as well. So you have unlimited think time for each of the five questions we ask!) that will take 15-20  minutes.
  • 30-minute phone interview with a member of AMA’s People and Culture team
  • For finalists only, a short thought exercise to present during your conversation with the hiring manager
  • Virtual Interview with the hiring manager and key stakeholders you’ll be working closely with

What we offer

  • An inclusive work environment.

  • Rewards and Recognition program through Bucketlist. See more about this here!

  • Free AMA membership and free access to the following professional development opportunities:

    • A variety of AMA professional development content
    • AMA’s Professional Certified Marketer - Marketing Manager certification exam
  • Remote work-life balance with:

    • Flex Fridays (no internal meetings scheduled after 12 pm on Fridays)

    • 4 weeks of parental bonding/caregiver  leave
    • Paid vacation time
    • 13 paid holidays
    • 6 days of paid volunteer time off per year
  • Comprehensive benefit package that includes:

    • Your choice of two medical plans with United Healthcare
    • Your choice of two dental plans with Guardian
    • Vision plan with Guardian
    • 403(b) retirement plan with an employer match and immediate vesting
    • Fully paid life insurance at twice your base annual salary
    • Fully paid short-term and long-term disability

The American Marketing Association is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, ancestry, disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, reproductive health decisions, family responsibilities, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with applicable legal requirements. AMA is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans. If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please let us know.

Product Technical Product Manager, Data Capture to Insights at Fingerprint

Technical Product Manager owns the end-to-end data lifecycle for a device intelligence platform, from signal collection through APIs and analytics dashboards.

Mid Remote Posted about 10 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Fingerprint empowers developers to stop online fraud at the source.

We work on turning radical new ideas in the fraud detection space into reality. Our products are developer-focused and our clients range from solo developers to publicly traded companies. We are a globally dispersed, 100% remote company with a strong open-source focus. Our flagship open-source project is FingerprintJS (27K stars on GitHub).

We have raised $77M and are backed by Craft Ventures (previously invested in Tesla, Facebook, Airbnb ), Nexus Venture Partners (previously invested in Postman, Apollo.io, MinIO, Druva) and Uncorrelated Ventures (previously invested in Redis, Rollbar & Gradle).

We have noticed a rise in recruiting impersonations across the industry, where scammers attempt to access candidates’ personal and financial information through fake interviews and offers. All Fingerprint recruiting email communications will always come from the @fingerprint.com domain. Any outreach claiming to be from Fingerprint via other sources should be ignored.

Technical Product Manager

We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to own the end-to-end data lifecycle for our device intelligence platform — from how signals are collected in the field, through storage and processing, to the query and reporting experiences our customers and internal teams rely on every day.

What you’ll own:

Data pipeline & infrastructure

Drive the roadmap for device data collection through our JS Agent — defining instrumentation contracts, managing schema evolution, and ensuring reliable delivery to our Server APIs. You’ll own the program across ingestion, storage, and processing, working closely with engineering to balance reliability, cost, and scale.

Analytics Dashboard, Server APIs, & MCP Query Experiences

Partner with product and design to define what users can see and do with their device data. You’ll translate customer feedback and internal needs into a prioritized roadmap for our Analytics Dashboard, Server APIs, and MCP experiences — covering query UX, report templates, data freshness SLAs, and export flows. You’ll also be responsible for the smooth completion of our customer migration between major Server API versions.

Roadmap & prioritization

Maintain a clear, well-reasoned roadmap across four interconnected surfaces (JS Agent, Server APIs, Dashboard, MCP Server). You’ll run quarterly planning, write crisp PRDs, manage dependencies across teams, and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders at all levels.

Launch & customer enablement

Coordinate with product marketing to plan and execute launches — from go-to-market timing and messaging alignment to post-launch enablement. You’ll own documentation updates and help drive internal- and customer-facing training materials and best practices content, ensuring customers can actually adopt what we ship. This means working across engineering, PMM, and customer success to keep education artifacts current and sequenced with the release calendar.

Background Specific To This Role:

  • Big data pipelines: You have a deep understanding of big data pipelines and the collection, storage, and query requirements that shape product decisions at scale
  • Data analytics products: You have experience as a PM on data analytics products. Experience with identity, anti-fraud, or data intelligence platforms is a strong plus
  • Experience with event-level data APIs: you understand APIs as a query and retrieval layer over high-volume behavioral or identity event streams, including filtering by visitor, time range, and metadata flags
  • API-as-data-product thinking: you can reason about what query capabilities and payload fields matter to enterprise customers, how downstream analytics pipelines consume structured event data, and where API design decisions create long-term friction or stickiness
  • Server-side API fluency at scale: you are familiar with rate limiting, regional data residency, authentication patterns, and pagination as product constraints, not just engineering concerns

Product Management General Skills:

  • Education: You have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, or equivalent work experience. MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
  • Product experience: You have 3+ years of product management experience, ideally on an existing product through a growth or scaling phase
  • Technical fluency: You have enough technical depth to have credible conversations with engineers about APIs, architecture, and system constraints without needing everything translated
  • Stakeholder navigation: You have experience managing competing priorities across multiple audiences — individual contributors, managers, and executives — and can drive alignment without direct authority
  • Customer focus: You have a demonstrated track record of translating customer needs into shipped product, through direct research, sales partnership, or usage data
  • Data fluency: You have experience defining and tracking product metrics, and using data to prioritize roadmap decisions and separate signal from noise
  • Roadmap ownership: You have experience making and defending tradeoff decisions under real resource constraints and competing stakeholder demands
  • Go-to-market partnership: You have experience working with sales and marketing on launches, pricing inputs, or positioning, and understand how product decisions affect the commercial motion

For US-based employees , the cash base compensation range for this role is $126,000 - $170,000. We set standard ranges for all US roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. To comply with local legislation and provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. However, these ranges are specific to the hiring location and may differ within or outside the US. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Offers vary depending on, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, certifications/licenses, skills, training, and market conditions.

Due to regulatory and security reasons, there’s a small number of countries where we cannot have Fingerprint teammates based. Additionally, because Fingerprint is an all-remote company and people can join our workforce from almost any country, we do not sponsor visas. Fingerprint teammates need to be authorized to work from their home location.

We are dedicated to creating an inclusive work environment for everyone. We embrace and celebrate the unique experiences, perspectives and cultural backgrounds that each employee brings to our workplace. Fingerprint strives to foster an environment where our employees feel respected, valued and empowered, and our team members are at the forefront in helping us promote and sustain an inclusive workplace. • Proactively analyze customer usage  patterns, technical health, and implementation approaches to identify optimization opportunities. Recommend solutions or additional services that can drive greater value and platform adoption.
  • Send status reports, action logs, and other necessary project artifacts as outlined in the customer contract. Clearly communicate progress, risks and solutions to stakeholders.
